Two men have been arrested after thousands of pounds worth of fruit was stolen from farms across the county.
Officers have arrested and bailed the two men, aged 61 and 31, both from Faversham, on suspicion of high value fruit thefts.
A farm in Head Hill Road, Graveney, was targeted with around £2,400 of fruit taken and three thefts were reported from a farm in Church Road, Tongue, where £1,600 worth of fruit was stolen.
Another theft was also being investigated by officers after it was reported that around £2,000 worth of fruit was stolen from land near Kenward Road, Yalding.
The men have been bailed until Tuesday, October 25 while enquiries continue.
