The Western Link has reopened following a crash which blocked part of the road in both directions.

A patient was taken to hospital and the road was blocked after the two-vehicle collision near to the junction of Bysing Wood Road shortly after 2pm.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene and a patient was taken to the Medway Maritime Hospital, but SeCAMB had no further details on their injuries.

The road reopened at around 3.40pm.
