An accident caused long delays on the A2 this evening.

The westbound side wass partially blocked following a crash just before Brenley Corner near Faversham.

It was reported the incident happened just before Junction 7 on the M2.

One commuter said: "Traffic is queued up on the A2 near Boughton. I’m barely moving."

The accident was reportedly cleared and traffic returned to normal just after 7.20pm.
