A three-car crash sparked delays on the M2 at rush hour.

Police were called to the coastbound stretch between junction 5 for the A249 at Sittingbourne and junction 6 at Faversham.

Traffic was held while police moved the vehicles, with one hitting the central reservation.

Officers were called just after 4.30pm.

A spokesman said: "We attended to control the traffic while the carriageway was cleared but no injuries were reported."
