CONCERNS are being raised for the safety of a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for the past week.
Kelly Johnson, who comes from a small village near Faversham, has not been seen since her parents dropped her off at the town’s station last Wednesday at about 7.30pm.
She had told her parents she was going to visit a friend in Canterbury but never turned up. Her parents became concerned when she failed to contact them.
Kelly is 5ft tall, slim with long straight ginger/auburn hair. When last seen she was wearing black flared trousers, a brown and cream crochet top and blue platform shoes.
She wears a gold charm bracelet on her left wrist, which holds five charms, a silver watch with a purple face, a gold necklace with a large letter K on it and a pair of large gold twisted earrings.
Missing persons officer PC Pat Preece said: "If anyone can help us with this investigation please contact us as soon as possible. Kelly's parents are extremely concerned as to her wellbeing and I would ask her to contact them and let them know she is safe."
Anyone who can help is asked to phone PC Preece on 01795 584198 between 8am and 4pm.
