Fire crews are at the scene of a blaze which has ravaged a home.
The roof of a property in St Mary’s Road, Faversham, has been destroyed by the fire, which broke out in the early hours.
Seven fire engines were called to the house at about 3.45am and to try and put out the flames and deal with the damage.
People living in the area were advised to close windows and doors due to the smoke 15 minutes later, but have been told they can reopen them.
Now, only two engines and a height vehicle are at the scene.
Kent Fire and Rescue’s volunteer response team is also in attendance to offer advice and support to residents.
Pictures from the scene show smoke billowing from the property, which is thought to be a family home, with a trampoline in the back garden.
Multiple emergency services filled the streets as crews tackled the blaze.
It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.
