Firefighters were called to a bungalow in Selling this morning after a blaze broke out in a kiln in the garage.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames and deal with the remaining hot spots.

They were called out at around 7.15am today (Friday) to the property in Selling Road, near to the White Lion pub.

Two fire engines attended.

They are still at the scene where they are ventilating the building using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
