I love Whitstable! That is the verdict of Holby City star Rebecca Grant.

Rebecca, who plays new nurse Daisha Anderson in the TV soap, was in the town at the weekend with fellow cast members Nadine Lewington, who plays the part of Maddie Young, and Rosie Marcell (Jac Naylor).

The trio were in the Duke of Cumberland for the nautically-themed birthday party of Rebecca’s fiance Ivan Pierson, who is from Whitstable.

Earlier in the day Rebecca picnicked on the beach with family and friends, and said she loves the town so much she would like to move to it.

“It’s one of the nicest towns I’ve ever been to,” she said.
