A person had to be cut free from a car following a crash on the outskirts of a village.
Fire crews were called to the incident in Otterden Road, Otterden, just before 8pm yesterday.
When they arrived at the scene of the one-vehicle collision near Faversham, they worked for almost two hours to release a person from the motor.
A fire service spokesman said: "Three fire engines were sent to the incident, and crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release one trapped casualty."
The person was then passed into the care of air ambulance paramedics for further treatment.
Crews left the area just before 9.45pm.
