HUNDREDS of people flocked to Faversham on Saturday for the town's annual carnival.
It was another resounding success, with nearly 60 floats taking part.
Carnival Queen Amanda Wren and her court were crowned in the market place and the procession through the street began around 6pm.
While the regular firework display was cancelled to save money, many people set off their own fireworks at home.
Organiser Sylvia Lawrence said: “It was amazing. So many people put in such a lot of hard work and it was incredibly difficult to judge the best floats.”
