A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash on the Thanet Way this afternoon.

There were delays of up to 40 minutes after the two-vehicle crash near to J7 for Brenley Corner, which also left another man with a head injury.

Police were called to the collision on the coastbound carriageway at around 3.52pm but the road has now reopened.

The accident happened between the Goodnestone/Graveney turn-off and the Brenley Corner roundabout.

Kent Highways say the central reservation is damaged.

The road reopened shortly after 5pm.
