A 22-year-old man was killed when his green Vauxhall Astra crashed on a main road through a Kent village.

The tragedy happened on the London Road at Teynham, between Faversham and Sittingbourne, at about 1.20am on Saturday, April 29.

The victim was Richard Casson, of Millfield Road, Faversham, who died at the scene.

Kent Police say that it was a single vehicle collision. Mr Casson's Astra had been travelling in the direction of Faversham.
