The M2 was partially blocked near Faversham this morning due to an accident involving four vehicles.
It happened shortly after 7am on the London-bound carriageway leading to a three mile tailback of slow moving traffic.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after junction 6 (A251 Ashford Road).
An earlier collision on the M20 between Ashford and Maidstone this morning closed the London bound carriageway for several hours after a van driver had to be cut from the wreckage of his vehicle following a crash with a lorry.
