Faversham has been named as being home to the second best outdoor swimming pool in the country.
The town's facilities were named in the top 10 according to the Daily Mail in an article reviewing the best lidos in Britain at the weekend.
The paper brands Faversham Pools as being "the pool for divers" thanks to its three diving boards - at one metre, three metre springboard and five metres.
Faversham is the only outdoor diving pool in the country and the paper ranked it second out of the UK's 125 outside swimming pools.
The publication highlights while health and safety issues have seen many diving boards at public facilities disappear in recent years, Faversham Pools have bucked the trend with its trio of diving options.
The article describes it as "great for children" thanks to the lazy river and shallow areas with serious swimmers able to get lengths in the 33-metre outdoor pool due to lanes roped off.
Marylka Gowlland, marketing manager for Faversham Pools, say everyone is "delighted" the pools have been recognised.
The pools get around 250,000 visitors every year and are open every day throughout the summer until September 8.
Diving lessons are available from fully qualified instructors for those wishing to take the plunge themselves. Divers need to be able to swim 25 metres and tread water.
