A popular outdoor swimming complex is set to open a month earlier than usual to allow families to take a dip during the Easter holidays, it has been announced.
Faversham Pools will welcome swimmers to its outdoor pool, rapids and paddling pool from Friday, April 1.
The facility in Leslie Smith Drive, Faversham - which draws thousands over the summer months, is usually closed between September and May.
Bosses took the decision to keep the main outdoor pool open all year round, with its sunset swims proving hugely popular.
Now, they have decided to open up the children's outdoor facilities a month earlier than usual, in time for the upcoming half term break.
An announcement on the Faversham Pools Facebook page reads: "We've got a surprise for you!
"So many of you have asked and we're thrilled to confirm that we'll be opening the outdoor pool complex a full month early this year, in time for the Easter holidays!
"From Friday 1 April, the outdoor pool, rapids and paddling pool will be open 11am-5pm daily.
"The pools are heated, but their temperature will be affected by the ambient air temperature, so lets hope this glorious weather continues!"
Booking opens this evening, seven days in advance. For more click here.
There will be two daily three-hour sessions, with 150 bookable slots for each.
