This cone-like home, which looks like something out of a fairy tale, has garnered significant attention online.
The Faversham oast house-turned-cosy cottage captured attention after being posted on the popular Reddit forum, Spotted on Rightmove.
A unique one-bedroom flat, which is on the market for £925 per month, is set over the first and second floors of the cone-shaped section of the building.
Kent Sales and Lettings, who are marketing the property, say this gives the rooms an “unusual shape and character”.
This becomes clear as you enter the residence to find the kitchen counters hugging the contour of the oast’s curves.
Alongside the kitchen, the first floor is also home to the shower room and bedroom.
Up the spiral staircase you will find the living area, which is again round.
While this certainly adds to its charm, it might be a challenge to find a sofa to fit the tower’s circumference.
The so-called “gnome home” also boasts a small patio garden and full gas central heating.
Located on the edge of The Faversham Recreation Grounds, the property is also just a few minutes walk from the nearest railway station.
After being posted on Reddit two days ago, along with the caption: “What I can only describe as a house built for a gnome”, it has attracted more than 50 comments and hundreds of likes.
This burst in popularity may however have affected the rent as before it was shared in the forum it was being advertised for £775 but has since shot up to £925 which is an increase of almost 20%.
One social media user commented on the listing saying: “I love this, it's incredibly cute and whimsical!
“However I do think furnishing it would be a slight problem, most furniture is square and this adorable little space hasn't got a corner to its name!”
