A motorcyclist was injured after a collision with a car.

It happened on Saturday in Preston Avenue, Faversham, at the junction with the A2.

Police said that they were called to the scene at 5.45pm by South East Coast Ambulance Service.

The rider was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

A police spokesman said: "His injuries are not reported to be life threatening."
