A supermarket in Faversham will be closing its doors temporarily as part of a £1 million refurbishment.
The major overhaul at Morrisons, off North Lane, is due to be finished by the end of August, which will see security at the store heightened after a number of break-ins.
Store manager Mark Prowse had hoped to keep the shop fully open, but it has now been revealed it will be closing for a number of days.
It will be shut from 6pm on Saturday, August 10, until 9am on Thursday, August 15.
Morrisons shoppers can alternatively use stores in Ten Perch Road, Canterbury, or in Mill Way, Sittingbourne.
The refurbishment will give customers access to more products while keeping popular favourites such as the salad bar and fresh meat and deli counters.
The shop has been hampered with a series of break-ins and thefts this year and part of the work will see new features in a bid to combat thefts.
