A three-car crash on a motorway caused tailbacks in both directions.

The collision took place on the M2 coastbound carriageway between junction 5 for Sittingbourne to junction 6 for Faversham.

The crash happened at about 7pm and the incident left the carriageway partially blocked.

The road has since been cleared and fully re-opened at about 8pm.
