A reality TV star has been lined up to make a special appearance during a charity event this weekend.

Dan Osborne from The Only Way is Essex will be joining the world's number one David Beckham lookalike at the fundraiser for charity Demelza this Sunday, August 14.

Last year’s event raised more than £1,600 and organiser Stephen Airey hopes this year will be even bigger.

The event will see two football teams battle it out, a climbing wall, a bouncy castle, raffle, stalls, face-painting, a tombola and much more.

Stephen said: “Demelza is such an amazing charity and they are relatively small and do not get a lot of support, so I thought I could make an event like Faversham hasn’t seen before and raise money for a great charity at the same time.”

Demelza offers hospice care and support to children and young people who have life-threatening or life-limiting conditions and their families.

The event takes place at Faversham Town Football Club in Salter’s Lane from 1.30pm until 5pm.

Entry is £5 per person and tickets are available now from Skin Illustrations tattoo parlour in Sittingbourne, the train station cafe or on the gate on the day.
