A town that lost its Morrisons supermarket is getting a new mini version.
Morrisons Daily opens in Preston Street, Faversham tomorrow, replacing McColl’s.
It comes after devastation from residents when their superstore shut in September. It is set to be replaced with a Home Bargains.
The new shop will be open from 6am till 10pm Monday to Friday, and 7am till 10pm on Sundays.
Morrisons saved McColl’s from administration last year after multiple stores recorded losses.
A spokesman for the supermarket giant said: “The new Morrisons Daily fresh food convenience store will offer customers a carefully tailored mix of Morrisons own brand products alongside branded favourites.
“As well as new ranges, the store has received a complete redesign internally and externally incorporating Morrisons' bright, modern branding.
“Fresh food is at the store's heart and we hope customers will love it.”
