A two car-crash has blocked the A2 at Faversham in both directions.

Emergency crews were called to the junction with Love Lane shorty after the accident at about 11.40am.

Police, firefighters and paramedics remain at the scene, with traffic backing up on both sides of the road.

The extent of any injuries is not yet known, but fire crews confirmed they have provided first aid to two women.
