A two-car crash blocked a stretch of motorway.

Traffic was building after the incident on the London M2 between junction 6 for Faversham and junction 5 for Sittingbourne.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Kent Police is currently attending a report of a collision involving two cars on the M2 Londonbound, between junction 6 near Faversham and junction 5 near Sittingbourne, following a call made to officers at 4.31pm today (July 10).”

All lanes have now reopened but traffic is still slow.
