One lane of the A2 is blocked near Brenley Corner after two coaches crashed close to the busy junction.

Police were called just after 4.30pm to the London-bound stretch.

One lane of the carriageway is still blocked and officers are helping to manage traffic.

A witness said police were seen helping people off the coaches, with queues stretching back past the services near Canterbury.

No serious injuries have been reported.

Highways officials say due to jammed brakes a recovery vehicle is on it's way to recover the coaches.
