A woman has been found dead inside a Travelodge.

Police were called to the roadside hotel along the A2 near Dunkirk after the death of a woman inside.

A police spokesman said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

The woman was found at around 12.20pm on Tuesday.

A Travelodge spokesman said: "Under the data protection act, we are unable to disclose any information about guests."
