A warning has been issued after firefighters were called to an out of control bonfire where a woman was injured.
Two fire engines were sent to Horselees Road in Boughton-under-Blean, between Faversham and Canterbury, shortly after 8pm.
Crews were called following reports of a bonfire becoming out of control, spreading to bushes, fences and a garden shed.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service says a woman was injured as a result of the blaze.
She had burns to her arm and was treated by South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics (SECAmb).
People are now being urged to follow advice for a safe bonfire following recent warmer weather.
The fire service says anyone wishing to have one should do so away from property, build it inwards so it collapses in on itself, and should keep a bucket or hosepipe nearby in case the flames begin to spread.
