Isthmian League round-up: Faversham win again, Zak Ansah in the goals, 10-man Hythe triumph

Faversham made it two wins out of two in Isthmian South East thanks to a 90th-minute winner on Saturday.

Roman Campbell had given Faversham a first-half lead but Ehtan Prichard levelled the scores early in the second half.

Zak Ansah led the way as Herne Bay went goal crazy in a 6-0 home win over Three Bridges.

First-half goals from Kieron Campbell, Dan Johnson and Ansah put Bay in control at the break.

Chinedu McKenzie and Dean Grant plus Ansah's second wrapped up the points.

Cray Valley also bagged their first win, a 4-2 success at Lancing.

Marcel Barrington, Francis Babalola and Ali Tumkaya put them 3-0 ahead at the break, Barrington adding the fourth in the second half.

A crowd of 648 saw Ramsgate post a 3-2 home win over Hastings.

Rams raced into a 3-1 first-half lead thanks to Jordan Chiedozie, Jamie Coyle and Joshua Ajayi.

Corinthian and Ashford played out a goalless draw as both teams remain unbeaten while

Sittingbourne suffered their first defeat, Ronnie Conlon's goal five minutes after the breaking giving hosts Whitehawk maximum points.

Hythe hit back to claim a dramatic 2-1 win at VCD, despite another red card seeing them play the final part of the game with 10 men.

Anthony Adesite put VCD ahead and Hythe then had Noel Leighton sent off for a reckless challenge.

But substitute Jordan Sarfo equalised and then Frannie Collin set up Scott Doe to head home the winner with nine minutes left.

Second-half goals from George Whitelock and Jeff Duah-Kessie led Phoenix Sports to a 2-0 win at Burgess Hill.

Harry Stannard scored again for Whitstable but they lost 3-1 at East Grinstead while Sevenoaks lost 2-1 at home to Haywards Heath, despite Louis Collins' first-half opener.

Folkestone dropped points in Isthmian Premier after being held to a goalless draw at home by Enfield Town, who also remain unbeaten.

The game's controversial moment came as early as the sixth minute when David Smith's effort appeared to have crossed the line but it was not given by the officials.

Margate also remain unbeaten, picking up a creditable 1-1 draw at Cheshunt after Vance Bola's opener was cancelled out by Reece Beckles Richards.

Danny Kedwell's winning start as Cray Wanderers boss came to an end as they went down 2-1 at home to Worthing.

Ejiro Okosieme cancelled out Thomas Chalaye's opener but Dayshonne Golding hit the winner in the second half.
