Boss Tommy Warrilow hinted he might rotate Faversham’s squad for their rearranged Challenge Cup Quarter-Final at Corinthian tonight.

The Lilywhites will aim to bounce back from their weekend 2-0 loss at home to Southern Counties East Premier Division frontrunners Glebe against another side looking to earn promotion this term.

Michael Golding’s Corinthian side, on a seven-game winning league run, are two points behind Faversham in third - but have four matches in hand - ahead of the last-eight tie at Gay Dawn Farm (7.45pm), a match originally postponed last Tuesday.

Faversham captain Connor Essam came off with a head injury against Glebe and playmaker Nathan Wood struggled with illness, although defender Ollie Gray has returned from a dual-registration spell at Isthmian South East Hythe and midfielder Sam Hasler is available again after suspension.

“There’s some lads looking to get minutes so we’ll just mix it up,” said Warrilow, speaking after the defeat to Glebe. “But mixing it up doesn’t jeopardise the quality of the squad.

“Sam Hasler has been suspended – but he’s not now. He’s back for Tuesday.

“We know Corinthian won’t be a stroll in the park. It’s going to be a battle and they’re having a fantastic season.

“I want to go there and win the game because I would like a Cup Final for the club and the fans.

“But, at the moment, I’m just licking my wounds.”

AFC Whyteleafe are the only team through to the Challenge Cup Semi-Final, beating Tunbridge Wells 2-1 last Tuesday.
