Vote for your star man in KentOnline’s team-of-the-week.

Well done to Faversham keeper Luke Watkins, who won last week’s poll with a third of the vote after saving an injury-time penalty.

Former Gills man Tom Hadler marked his Ebbsfleet debut by saving two spot-kicks as Dennis Kutrieb’s side beat Hastings on penalties in the FA Cup.

Laurence Harvey scored twice in the last 10 minutes as Herne Bay came from a goal down to beat Whitehawk 3-1 in Isthmian South East.

Another defender on the scoresheet was Faversham’s Joe Denny and he also celebrated a clean sheet as the Lilywhites ran out 3-0 winners in the Swale derby at Sittingbourne.

On-loan Millwall centre-half Harry Ransom impressed on his debut as Dover shocked big-guns Notts County 1-0 on the opening day of the National League season.

Sheppey United provided the result of the round in Saturday’s FA Cup qualifiers with Jahmal Howlett-Mundle opening the scoring as the Southern Counties East outfit beat National South Welling 2-0.

Denzel Gayle was among the scorers as Cray Valley - 6-0 winners over VCD in an earlier round - continued their FA Cup run with a 5-1 win at Harrow Borough.

There was a first win of the season for Whitstable in Isthmian South East with midfielder Reece Gillies looking the part in a 2-0 victory at Haywards Heath.

Dan Parkinson led unbeaten Sevenoaks to victory in the same division, scoring the second-half winner against Burgess Hill.

Up top, Dan Bradshaw scored twice as SCEFL visitors Chatham stunned Isthmian Premier Folkestone 3-0 in the FA Cup.

Prolific Joe Taylor continued his flying start to the season with a hat-trick as Cray Wanderers won 6-2 at Moneyfields in the FA Cup.

Hollands & Blair won 3-1 at Tower Hamlets in Southern Counties East with ex-Gills and Ebbsfleet striker Danny Kedwell scoring twice to seal a team-of-the-week return.

Chatham boss Scott Lindsey would have been a shoo-in for top boss had Sheppey’s Ernie Batten not trumped him with the Ites’ brilliant win over Welling.
