Faversham joint-managers Phil Miles and Danny Chapman have been sacked after less than a year in charge at Salters Lane.
The decision arrives on the back of Tuesday night's 1-0 Velocity Trophy defeat to Herne Bay and Saturday's 2-0 loss to Cray Valley in the Isthmian South East.
Miles and Chapman were appointed as managers back in November 2018 following Ray Turner's resignation.
Miles revealed to KentOnline on Wednesday morning that he had been informed of the decision by chairman Paul Bennett over the phone following a board meeting in which the majority of members voted in favour of their dismissal.
Faversham adopted a youthful look during the off-season as the two managers were handed a reduced budget with which to rebuild their squad following several departures in the summer.
The club notably took a step away from contract-based agreements with players in view of becoming sustainable and avoiding running into financial difficulties further down the line.
In a statement on the club website, chairman Bennett: "We’d like to thank Phil and Danny for the effort they have put into trying to rebuild a team following the difficulties experienced last season.
"They came in at a difficult time and I acknowledge that it has not been an easy task.
"I don’t wish to go into details but the directors were unhappy with the direction that the club was going in, both on and off the pitch, and it was felt best to address that now while there is time to rectify it this season.
"We wish Phil and Danny all the best for the future."
Faversham currently sit 13th in the Isthmian South East and level on 10 points with Haywards Heath and Herne Bay after three wins, one draw and five defeats.
Such has been the tight start to the campaign that just five points separate Town and fourth-placed Ashford, fifth-placed Phoenix Sports and sixth-placed Guernsey.
There are meanwhile just eight points between them and bottom-club East Grinstead.
Miles and Chapman helped Faversham avoid relegation last season as they finished in 17th.
Clive Walker is to take charge of the team until a permanent manager is appointed.
