Manager James Collins has added a set-piece specialist to his Faversham Town squad.
Midfielder Grant Brown is a player Collins knows all about.
The 27-year-old brings added experience to the squad and Collins says he’s glad to be working with a player who has played a part in his own progression as manager.
Speaking about the latest recruit, Collins told the club’s website: “Grant is a player who has been with me at most clubs. I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for some of the performances he put in for me in my early years of management.
“I think he perhaps fell out of love with the game for a bit. We spoke in the summer and he has come in with us and looks sharp.
“He’s another player who brings something different to the table. He started as a young pro at Motherwell and is a set piece specialist.
“It’s another important signing, as Grant will also add a bit of experience to our young squad.”
Brown has already joined in with training at the Aquatherm Stadium as the squad prepare for a 2020/21 return.
