Maidstone opened up a three point lead at the top of the Ryman League Premier Division after a 2-0 win at home to AFC Hornchurch.

Steve Watt opened the scoring in the first half, before Frannie Collin came off the bench to seal the win late on.

The lead is there because Margate lost 2-1 at home to third-placed Dulwich Hamlet.

Ryan Moss scored a Gate equaliser, but they couldn't find a second.

Elsewhere in the Division, two goals from Joe Taylor saw Tonbridge Angels fight back from goal down to win against Enfield Town.

Corey Whitely gave Town the lead on 41 minutes, before Taylor levelled four minutes later.

And Taylor hit the winner in the 79th minute to ease their relegation worries.

Aaron Jeffery's goal wasn't enough to save VCD Athletic as they lost 3-1 at home to Bognor Regis Town.

Harvey White and Stuart Green had put the visitors 2-0 at the break, before Jeffery's strike gave them hope. However an Ollie Pearce penalty secured the win for Town, to leave VCD a point from safety.

In Division 1 South, Faversham maintained their title bid with a 4-0 win at South Park.

Jack Harris gave Town the lead on 36 minutes, and that was how it stayed until the last 17 minutes when Faversham ran in three goals.

Wayne Wilson added the second, before Charley Robertson and Harris completed the win late on. Town remain level on points with leaders Burgess Hill Town, who have four games in hand.

Folkestone consolidated their spot in the play-offs with a 3-1 win at fellow high-flyers Merstham - moving above them into third.

Two goals in two second-half minutes from Ian Draycott put Folkestone in charge, but Hutchings pulled one back on with nine minutes remaining.

But, Ronnie Dolan sealed the impressive win in the 90th minute.

Whitstable fought back from 2-0 down to earn a point at home to fellow play-off chasers Whyteleafe.

The visitors scored twice in the opening seven minutes through Sam Clayton and Roscoe Dsane, but Scott Heard brought Town back into the game 12 minutes later.

Whitstable came out firing at the start of the second half and midfielder Tom Loynes struck them level after just three minutes.

However, there were no more goals, leaving Whitstable seven points outside the play-offs.

Herne Bay moved up to 10th with a 2-0 win at Horsham.

Danny Williams opened the scoring in the first half and Michael Turner completed the scoring nine minutes after the break.

Sittingbourne lost a seven-goal thriller at home to Walton Casuals.

The Brickies fell three goals behind as strikes from Luke Medley, Malik Owani and Scott Day put the visitors in control with 48 minutes gone.

Hicham Akhazzan pulled one back for Bourne on 67 minutes, and Miles Cornwell grabbed another on 77.

However, Quincey Rowe netted Casuals' fourth in the 90th minute, but there was still time for Sittingbourne to grab a third through Jono Richardson.

Second-half goals from Tom Chapman and Aaron Quain couldn't save Ramsgate as they fell to a 3-2 loss at Tooting & Mitcham.

First-half strikes from Sol Pinnock, Saidhu Khan and Danny Graves did the damage and to make matters worse Rams had Curtis Robinson sent off late on.

In Division 1 North, Chatham's poor run continued with a 4-1 loss at fellow strugglers Redbridge.

Charlie Parish and Vinny Murphy put the home side 2-0 up before Owen Kabodi pulled one back for Chatham.

However second-half goals from Carlos Epsirito Santo and Patrick Damali sealed the win.

Elsewhere, Thamesmead lost 2-0 at Needham Market. Oliver Fenn and Luke Ingram netting for the home side.
