MERIDIAN TV will cover Faversham Town’s Extra Preliminary Round tie against Horsham YMCA at Salters Lane on Saturday Sports Editor Iain McBride will be there to cover the game, with highlights screened on Monday night.

ITV’s early-round coverage signals the first year of the network’s joint deal with Setanta Sports, and the Bulmers Kent League Premier Division side are among the first clubs to feature.

Boss Justin Luchford said: Having the cameras there will be a novelty, and I hope our lads prepare and play in the same way. I saw them play on Tuesday, and know a few players who have gone there. It will be a good test for us, and we would like a little cup run, everybody at our level does at this stage, but our main focus is on the league.”
