Faversham boss Tommy Warrilow wouldn’t swap his strikers for anyone else in the Southern Counties East League.
Hat-trick hero Tashi-Jay Kwayie, Danny Parish and Johan Caney-Bryan are a potent trio at his level - and the one above - for any side.
While 22-goal Kwayie took the plaudits in last Saturday’s 4-3 derby win over Whitstable at Salters Lane, any of the trio could have easily walked off with the matchball.
“Obviously, Tash is on fire at the moment,” said Warrilow. “I’ve had him at a few clubs and he’s a good lad.
“I thought Danny Parish was outstanding and Johan as well, all three put in a proper shift - but Tash is getting all the headlines at the moment!
“They are three lads that are going to graft for you and, at any level of football, that’s the most important thing. But to have the quality that they all possess, Johan is so strong with his hold-up play when he’s got two men around him, they all bring different things.
“Tash took his goals well, Johan put the one in that was disallowed and had two good chances second half so he’ll be disappointed he didn’t get a hat-trick.
“As long as they put a shift in and do their jobs, I’m not fussed who is scoring when we get three points.
“I don’t want to disrespect anyone else’s firepower in this league but I’ve brought them all in. I know what I’m going to get from them so it’s an area that we’re not looking to strengthen, put it that way!”
The victory kept Faversham two points behind leaders VCD with two games in hand.
Warrilow’s men will catch up those matches by the time the two teams meet in the league on January 25.
“We’re second still, fair play to VCD who chalked off another win,” said Warrilow. “I’ve told the boys to just concentrate on ourselves. We’ve got VCD at the end of January and it will be built up as a must-win game but I look at Fisher and think they’re a very good side.

“This league is mental because if you’re playing bottom, middle or top, anyone can turn another side over on their day. It happened to us the other week against Erith in the FA Vase so it does happen in football.
“But the most important thing is to concentrate on us and not get too carried away with the highs and the lows.
“I’ve got the blinkers on so if we keep winning and winning, then look around and see there’s a great big gap. At the moment there’s someone above us so we’ve got to catch them first.
“I know there’s a couple of games in hand but we’ve got to make sure we keep picking up three points and see where it takes us. We’ve lost one league game so if we can repeat that in the second half of the season it might be seen as a bit unfair not to go up automatically.
“Everyone is going to make us favourites anyway so if we win it, they will say we’re supposed to do that. Last year we were supposed to win it and we didn’t.”
Next week marks a year in charge at Salters Lane for Warrilow, who described the past 12 months among his most enjoyable time in the dugout despite missing out in the play-offs last season.
“What a club to be at, what’s going on off the pitch as well as on it,” beamed Warrilow. “It’s a completely different animal now.
“It’s been one of the most enjoyable years I’ve had. I didn’t know a lot of people when I came here and I’ve got to know everyone at board level, from the chairman Gary Smart downwards, and they’re just nice, genuine people who you want them to do well in football.
“With the project and ambitions here, it’s exciting time for Faversham and we’re just hoping the town keep coming and support us.”
Faversham are away to Corinthian in the league on Saturday.
