Faversham Town boss Ray Turner has praised the commitment his players have shown towards the club in recent weeks.
It has been a tough spell for Town with four games in seven days, including a midweek trip to Guernsey.
They have three games left of the Bostik South season, starting with Horsham on Saturday, and Turner is hoping to have a strong finish.
He said: “It was a tough week. I have to applaud the commitment the players have shown the football club. That has been good to see.
“It has been good to give them a bit of time off this week as there are three games left to go and all on Saturdays.
“Hopefully, we can get something at Horsham on Saturday. We have not had the best of records going there. We want to finish the season well in the last three games.”
Faversham lost 3-1 to Guernsey last Wednesday and followed this up with a goalless draw at home to Thamesmead on Saturday. The clean sheet was their first since October 17.
Turner added: “It was not the greatest of games against Thamesmead.
“It was difficult for both teams and they are a good, strong side, which showed on Tuesday when they beat Greenwich.
“We had all the chances and young Thomas Benham did well in goal. One of our problems this season has been conceding goals so getting the clean sheet was pleasing.”
