Sheldwich CC held their 2024 end-of-season awards night on Sunday.
Player-of-the-year and bowler-of-the-year went to James Creed, who scored more than 300 runs, including two centuries, and took 32 wickets across the summer.
That included three five-wicket hauls, best figures of 5-12 and a bowling average of a mere 9.06.
But it was Alex Roe who won the batsman-of-the-year award as he racked up 349 runs across the campaign.
Clubperson-of-the-year went to Phil Stanford for his groundwork at Sheldwich Lees, as well as being instrumental in arranging the raffle, for which the prizes - which included two tickets to Lord’s to watch an England Test match, two tickets to watch Arsenal versus Ipswich in the Premier League on Friday, December 27 and a meat hamper worth £200 - were won on the evening.
Archie Hills earned the young player-of-the-year award. The spinner took 16 wickets at 24.56.
Saturday skipper Sam Evans was crowned fielder-of-the-year for his eight catches and one stumping.
The Saturday and Sunday sides both finished third-bottom in the Kent League Division 10 Shepherd and the Kent Village League 3 West division.
Their end-of-season awards event took place at the Red Lion pub in Badlesmere, near Faversham, again.
