We're delighted to announce the Children's Awards are returning for 2025 to recognise outstanding individuals and organisations in Kent.

The Children's Awards recognise the efforts and achievements of courageous children, their families and the charities and individuals who support them.

To nominate a child, family or charity that you feel is deserving of one of the six awards simply scroll down to read more about the categories and then click to add your vote.
They could win a fabulous prize!

This year's gala event will be held in the early autumn and for 2025 will have an 'enchanted' theme.

The six awards open for nominations are:

  • Brave and Courageous Child of the Year
    Here we celebrate children who are working hard to overcome severe disabilities and illnesses. Two winners will be selected from each age group.
    Age 0 – 8, Age 8 – 16
  • Young Volunteer or Fundraiser of the Year
    This award recognises a child - or group of children - who have done outstanding work to raise money for charity or have selflessly volunteered their time to give back to their community.
  • Young Hero of the Year
    Celebrating children who were brave in the face of adversity, this award is seeking a young candidate who showed real heroism.
  • Exceptional Young Carer of the Year
    This award commends young carers looking after other family members.
  • Outstanding Charity of the Year
    Recognition for a charity - or voluntary group - which is supporting children facing challenges in life.
  • Courageous Family of the Year
    This award celebrates the exceptional families in Kent coping with severe illness or disabilities.
