TWO young men have died following separate motorcycle crashes in Kent.
The 24-year-old rider of a black Kawasaki ZX motorcycle was killed on the A259 at Brookland, on Romney Marsh, on Sunday at about 4.20pm. He lived in the Folkestone area.
He was riding his machine towards Ashford when he came off and was struck by another motorbike, a Triumph TT, travelling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Kawasaki was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and died of his injuries.
The driver of the Triumph sustained shoulder injuries and was also taken hospital. The road was closed while the Serious Collision Investigation Unit attended.

The other tragedy, also on Sunday, claimed the life of an 18-year-old man from Borough Green, near Sevenoaks. He suffered fatal injuires during a race at the Lydden racing circuit, near Dover.
He fell from his bike and was struck by another motorcyclist.
Neither of the men who died have been so far been named. Inquests will be held.
