Two people have been arrested after more than £20,000 was found in a car bound for France.
Police officers found the cash hidden inside the engine compartment of the green BMW M5 in Folkestone.
The high performance car was stopped at the outbound controls of the Channel Tunnel terminal in Cheriton on Monday night.
A further £5,000 was found in the car; £2,000 in a rucksack, and £3,000 inside a Louis Vuitton handbag.
Officers arrested a 29-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman from Birmingham on suspicion of money laundering.
Both have since been released from custody pending further enquiries.
This is the second cash seizure at the tunnel border in three days, after five people were arrested and £50,000 seized on Saturday.
Two separate cars were stopped, and cash totalling about £54,000 was found between the vehicles.
Three women in their twenties – two from Hertfordshire and the third of no fixed address – were arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
A 25-year-old man from Hertfordshire and a 33-year-old man from London were also arrested for the same offence.
