Buses in Hawkinge were diverted this morning after a crashed car blocked a road.
The vehicle was discovered in Page Road, near the roundabout, at around 7.10am.
Police believe the car was involved in a crash last night, and had been left in the road since then.
An investigation has now been launched to trace its owner.
A spokesman for the police said: "We were called at 7.10am on Sunday, January 17, to a report of an unoccupied car blocking part of a roundabout in Page Road, Hawkinge.
"Inquiries have revealed the vehicle may have been involved in a collision shortly after 10.30pm on Saturday, January 16.
"The car has now been recovered and inquiries to trace its owners are ongoing."
Stagecoach tweeted its customers to say that the incident was preventing the 16 bus service was running to Lidl, which is in Haven Road, close to where the car was found.
A tweet said: "Folkestone the gold 16 bus can not serve the bus stop by lidl in #Hawkinge due to an accident and car blocking the road sorry."
