A heartwarming story of a young boy with an adorable love for bin lorries has been shared over social media.
Charlie Losada, from Hawkinge, is "absolutely bin lorry mad" and makes the effort to see his heroes as they come past every week.
In a story shared by Folkestone and Hythe District Council, his mum Louise said: "Charlie is absolutely bin lorry mad.
"He stands outside every Friday to say hello to the waste crew whatever the weather – sun, rain, wind and even snow!"
And it would seem that the crews are just as happy to see Charlie as he is to see them.
Mrs Losada said: "They are always amazing with him, often stopping to have a quick chat and waving from the cab.
"A couple of weeks ago he wanted some photos with his high-vis buddies.
"I think they deserve their recognition for the effort they make"
"Crew member Andrew was more than happy to pose up, and we would like to thank him and his colleagues for making my little boy’s day.
"They are so polite every week and I think they deserve their recognition for the effort they make with Charlie … and for taking our waste and recycling away too."
The story has been shared across Facebook and Twitter by the council, who said it was so lovely that they "just had to share".
