This is the moment armed police swooped on a suspect car after a man was threatened with a weapon.

A helicopter was also called in to search for the suspect after the incident in Folkestone.

Several officers gathered near the flats in Enbrook Valley at around 4.15pm.

They approached a car and a man was seen getting out with his hands in the air.

However Kent Police has confirmed inquiries are ongoing to find the suspect and armed patrols are being assisted by the National Police Air Service.

Nobody was injured during the incident.
