Bradstone Road burglary: Folkestone home targeted

A pensioner managed to scare off a group of balaclava-clad burglars after they broke into his house in Folkestone.

Police are now appealing for witnesses after the burglary at the property in Bradstone Road in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The incident when three men gained access to the property is reported to have taken place between 2.10am and 2.24am.

The victim, a man in his 80s, was confronted by the trio after they got into his house.

All three men were described as being a medium to large build and were wearing balaclavas.

When he interrupted, the victim called for help and the group left the property.

Nothing was reported stolen during the incident, police said.
