A Kent club is preparing to throw a BDSM-themed costume party.
Revellers are asked to "come dressed appropriately" to the "one night only" event being held in Folkestone.
The night, titled BDSX which combines 'BDSM' and 'sex', is described as an evening of "music, costumes, and hedonism".
It is being put on by Intergalactic Events, which launched a month ago and is dedicated to hosting the "more outlandish events".
A spokesman said: "I chose this theme because I believe that Folkestone has a thriving alternative creative culture, and this event is something that could be far more appealing to such a culture than would meet the eye, and no-one is doing it.
"I also just wished for a memorable creative and fun night with good music and great costumes."
BDSM is used as a catch-all phrase covering a variety of practices - bondage and discipline (B/D), dominance and submission (D/S) and sadism and masochism (S/M).
BDSM communities generally welcome anyone with a 'non-normative' streak, which can include cross-dressers, rubber fetishists and more.
Typical dress code can include clothing made of latex, leather, PVC or Lycra. Props can include handcuffs, blindfolds or whips, among other equipment.
As well as dressing up, guests to the party at Electo Chocolate Cafe, a coffee shop come bar in Rendevous Street, will be treated to music from DJ acts Helion and Cherif Hashizume.
A post on social media states: "BDSX will be welcoming the wonderfully talented Cherif Hashizume to play some kinky tracks to get the night going."
The party will take place on Friday, September 20 from 8pm until late. Entry, sold on the door, is £5.
