Motorcyclist injured in crash on Cheriton High Street near Tesco store in Folkestone close to M20 junction 12

A motorcyclist came off his bike during this morning's rush hour on a busy road out of Folkestone.

No other vehicles are said to have been involved in the incident on Cheriton High Street.

Police were called by paramedics at the scene at 8.10am but were not required to close the road or investigate further.

It happened by the roundabout close to the Tesco superstore by junction 12 of the M20.

The extent of the man's injuries are as yet unclear.

Meanwhile, another biker has been airlifted to hospital following a crash on the Old Thanet Way in Herne Bay this morning.
