Police hunt pair after man is attacked on The Leas in Folkestone and taken to hospital

Police are hunting two men after another man was attacked last night.

Officers were called after reports the victim had been attacked near to the bandstand on The Leas in Folkestone at around 8.50pm.

This morning police tape and a large blood stain were still visible at the top of the Zig Zag Path.

Following the assault, the victim was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford by South East Coast Ambulance Service.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing."
