A car was left completely destroyed by fire last night in Swingfield.

Firefighters were called to the burning vehicle at around 1.30am but the Mistubishi was already well alight.

It is not thought the cause of the fire was suspicious.

A spokesman from Folkestone fire station said the car was "100% destroyed by fire" but added there "was not anything to alarm us to be suspicious".

The cause is being put down to an electrical fault with the car.
