Three men arrested in connection with damaged cars and homes in Folkestone

Three men have been arrested following a spate of vandalism which left cars and homes damaged.

Three properties and around 10 vehicles parked in Fernbank Crescent, Marshall Street, Canterbury Road and Black Bull Road, all in Folkestone, were tagged with spray paint and graffiti in the early hours one morning.

An investigation was launched after the incidents on March 17, and officers arrested three men from the town, aged 19, 21, and 26, on suspicion of criminal damage yesterday.

They were also arrested in relation to two other reports of criminal damage to a vehicle in Folkestone, reported to have taken place on February 1 and 21.

The suspects have been released on bail while inquiries are ongoing.

Officers are now asking anyone whose property or vehicle was damaged and has not yet informed police to report it via 101 or through the Kent Police website www.kent.police.uk
