Police have released images of a man they are looking for following a robbery at an amusement arcade last month.

One member of staff was threatened with a knife by a bandit in the raid at Palace Amusements in Rendezvous Street, Folkestone.

It happened at around 6.30am on Thursday, April 7 and the new picture was released today (Tuesday).

Investigating officer, Det Con Carl Evans, said: “A man walked past the amusement arcade several times from about 5.30am.

“At about 6.30am he walked into the arcade, threatened a male member of staff with a knife and demanded money.

“He made off with a quantity of coins and notes. No injuries were reported.”

Police say that the man made off on foot through Payers Park and down The Old High Street towards Tontine Street.

He is described as aged between 17 and 25 and of a slim build.

Officers say that during the robbery he was wearing dark trousers, a dark top a a black beanie hat.

As he left he took off the hat and dark-coloured top to reveal lighter coloured top underneath.
