Cyclist, in 70s, taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford after falling off bike on A259, Dymchurch Road in Hythe

A cyclist was taken to hospital after falling off their bike near a junction.

Police and paramedics were called to the A259, Dymchurch Road in Hythe just before 9am.

It followed reports a pensioner had fallen off their bike near the junction with Burmash Road.

A man in his 70s was taken to the William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.
